About the BISTRO
The Bistro wood-burning cookstove is contemporary, compact and versatile. The perfect hybrid between a stove and a cookstove, it is an ideal additional heat source for spaces up to 2,100 ft². Its compact size offers reduced clearances to combustible materials to facilitate installation in your space.
Specifically designed to be pleasant to use, the Bistro is equipped with an air damper that allows you to regulate combustion and adjust cooking temperature. The stainless steel oven is located above the firebox to obtain an even internal temperature and simplify the handling of dishes. The lateral-opening door frees up space in front of the appliance and facilitates access to the interior of the oven.

Will it really heat 2,100 sq ft?
That is the maximum, in a well insulated open layout. A closed floor plan or a drafty old house heats less. If your space is chopped into rooms, size up or plan for a blower.
Can I really bake in it?
Yes. It has a real wood-fired oven and a cast-iron cooktop, so you can bake and cook on wood heat, not just warm the room. The oven volume is listed in the specifications above.
What happens if the power goes out?
Nothing changes. It has no electronics and no fans, so the cooktop and the oven keep working through any outage. That off-grid cooking and heat is a large part of why people choose a cookstove.
